Travel Tips by Karen Hamburger
I recently did a little bit of traveling for work, which now qualifies me a travel expert. Today's lesson:
RENTAL CARS
Step 1: Bump your car door into the car next to it white entering (ideally you are still in view of the check-in counter).
Step 2: Reset all the radio station presets.
Step 3: Figure out how to turn off windshield wiper which accidentally started while setting presets .
Step 4: Try to pull out of spot while still in park.
Step 5: Try to pull out of spot while in drive.
Step 6: Put car in reverse.
Step 7: Obsess over those spikey things, because sometimes when you stop the car rolls back a little bit, and what if that little bit is just enough and you spike the tires?
Step 8: Hear boring story from checkout lady, apparently her name is Hammerstein, which is slightly similar to your name.
Step 9: Get lost in O'hare parking lot grounds for 20-30 minutes.
Step 10: Drive fast.
